Is this clean?
At Teak, we do not use the terminology "clean" because there is no global standard for what defines "clean" beauty. So instead, we have opted to follow Credo's guidelines for "clean" ingredients.

Hello there,
While we typically focus on neutral shades at Teak, there are some statement colors we believe are necessary for everyone to have in their makeup wardrobe, and a classic red lipstick is one of them. We love how fully un-shy and un-apologetic a red can be.
We found that red lipsticks that we encountered were often too subtle or too intense on our brown skin. We wanted to find a shade of red that looked good even if you have hyperpigmentation around your mouth, as South Asians often do. Using color theory, we came up with the right blend of pigments that work with South Asian skin full of yellow and gold undertones as well as darker hyperpigmentation hues around the mouth. Sonia is deep and rich color, like the seeds of a pomegranate, making it a red that makes a statement, but in an approachable, everyday sort of way
We made this lipstick ultra pigmented, so a few swipes is all you really need to get the look you're going for. As always, the formula is vegan and free of parabens, sulfates, and pthalates. It's cruelty free, as well.
We also added a touch of peppermint to give it a refreshing, cooling feeling on your lips.
