    Is this clean?

    At Teak, we do not use the terminology "clean" because there is no global standard for what defines "clean" beauty. So instead, we have opted to follow Credo's guidelines for "clean" ingredients.

    Our ingredient policy is as follows:

    Vegan, Vegetarian, Cruelty Free, Kosher, BHT Free, BHA Free, Gluten Free, Paraben Free, Pthalates free, Sulfate Free, and European Union compliant.
    Wear Time: Normal

    This product is made with clean ingredients and does not include any harsh longwear chemicals that you may commonly find in your longwear lipsticks. This is a normal-wear lipstick that we formulated to be non-drying and smooth to apply. While high pigment lipsticks provide full coverage, they do so at the expense of irritating lip skin and drying it out, leaving you with a cracked and chapped look. That's why we decided to lower the pigment levels slightly in this lipstick, so that you still get good coverage, but without the unwanted lip dryness and damage.

    Hello there, 

    After what seemed like a lifetime of buying and trying pink lipsticks, only to throw them away or not use them, we realized it was time to create our own. Nyla is an ode to our younger selves who so desperately wanted an easy pink nude lipstick to wear everyday. It's a careful mix of strawberry pink, brown, and mauve that complements the natural hues of South Asian lips.  

    The formula is vegan and free of parabens, sulfates, and pthalates. It's cruelty free, as well. 

    We also added a touch of peppermint to give it a refreshing, cooling feeling on your lips. We hope you like it!

    The Perfect Mauvey-Pink Nude for Two-Toned South Asian Lips

    Finding flattering lip shades when you have a South Asian complexion can be especially hard. Using the principles of color theory, we did extensive research to come up with the shade Nyla: the perfect nude pink lipstick in a soft matte formula for those with brown skin.
