Is this clean?
At Teak, we do not use the terminology "clean" because there is no global standard for what defines "clean" beauty. So instead, we have opted to follow Credo's guidelines for "clean" ingredients.
Our ingredient policy is as follows:

Wear Time: Normal, Medium Coverage
This product is made with clean ingredients and does not include any harsh longwear chemicals that you may commonly find in your longwear lipsticks. This is a normal-wear lipstick that we formulated to be non-drying and smooth to apply. While high pigment lipsticks provide full coverage, they do so at the expense of irritating lip skin and drying it out, leaving you with a cracked and chapped look. That's why we decided to lower the pigment levels slightly in this lipstick, so that you still get good coverage, but without the unwanted lip dryness and damage.
What will Shivani Look like on me?
Deep Brown Skin - Shivani looks like a warm light magenta on deep skin tones, leaning more pink on those with pink lips, and more wine/purple on those with brown/purple lips.
Medium Brown Skin - Shivani looks like a subtle magenta on medium brown skin tones, leaning more pink on those with pink lips, and more wine/purple on those with brown/purple lips.
Light Brown Skin - Shivani looks like a true wine on light brown skin tones, leaning more magenta on pink lips, and more purple on those with brown lips.
Light Skin - Shivani looks like a deep wine tone on on lighter skin tones.

We are so, so excited to present to you Shivani, the lipstick shade that inspired us to start Teak. We had just gotten back from a trip to Sephora and were feeling defeated. We couldn't find this bricky-purplish-but-slightly-slightly-pinkish-brownish color that wasn't at all a nude, but also wasn't so in your face that you felt like you were making a big statement when wearing it. So we took matters into our own hands, and like mad scientists, we decided to mix lipstick colors ourselves in the kitchen until we got it. We took our sample to a cosmetics lab and tweaked and perfected the color and formula even more, until we knew we had not just a winner on our hands, but also, maybe even an entire brand and company idea.
For those days when you feel like bringing some punchy color to your face, but don't feel like making a huge statement, Shivani is your new go-to.
The formula is vegan and free of parabens, sulfates, and pthalates. It's cruelty free, as well.
We also added a touch of peppermint to give it a refreshing, cooling feeling on your lips. We hope you love it as much as we do.
